philosophy of healing
Often our greatest struggles amount to our greatest strengths by finding the meaning within our challenges. The journey of healing is an integrative one, where the lost and hidden parts of the self become known through the exploration and connection of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical processes. As a somatic and depth oriented clinical practitioner I am here to support you find your way through the past to the present, and return to your true self. The Self that is whole and safe in your authenticity.
I approach the therapeutic container from a trauma-informed person centered orientation. The roots of my practice are based in the psychological orientations of Jungian psychology, psychodynamic, transpersonal, existential, mindfulness, nature based and somatic therapies. I work with complex trauma and serve a wide range of clients from diverse back grounds. I am a LGBTQIA+ advocate.
Building a relationship of trust with my clients is essential to our ability to access what wants to be known and healed. By attending to our inner work we can transform and change the way we relate to our external lives, bringing deeper acceptance, satisfaction, and peace into our everyday experience.
